graphic wall decor

Check out these intense wall graphics.  I think these would be good for a modern house.  Its like the new version of murals.  My mom once painted a mural in my room as a child.  It was of a wisteria tree.  I hated it at first but it really was amazing.  I was such a brat not appreciating such amazing art work that was right in my room for me to view everyday!!!  But now im saying THANKS MOM

I am currently in a mood where I constantly want to create something beautiful and interesting.  I have been doodling lately with ink just making designs with lines...here is a little something that I am working on @ the moment:

ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE COLOR?

So many people these days are really scared of color!!  Now don't get me wrong.  I love neutrals, whites, grays, browns and blacks as much as the next girl but whatever happened to spontaneity.  Brightening up your home.  Though I agree with some designers,  rooms should flow in your home.  Try and stay with the architecture but that doesn't mean that all the colors have to be the same.  Try and paint a guest bedroom a vibrant color, or maybe a guest bathroom.  Emerald green.  This color works wonders with blacks, whites, and golds.  Check out some of the images below to get some inspiration

small spaces = shelving

If you have a small space like me then it's time to really utilize that space.  Shelving helps keep all of your items organized and makes the space look fresh.  I really like the website http://www.restuarantsupplies.com/  ...i bought a shelving unit from this site to put in my kitchen.  The shelves come in all sizes too....check it out

Passionate for Pink

So my mother who has a wonderful eye or style and interiors was thinking of a nice and refreshing way to transform one of her guest rooms.  I recently saw some interiors which all happened to be the color pink.  Though many think that pink is only a color for girls, pink can really transform a room into looking fresh, clean, and young.  It automatically gives your room a facelift.  Don't be afraid of the color pink....PINK IS POWER

So I am in the process of designing an outside kitchen area.  The wants and likes are blues and teals with grays and some whites to make the colors pop.  I love some of the exteriors.  Pretty amazing.  Great inspiration today

LOVE LOVE LOVE these pics.  Amazing.  I have a really really really small apartment and would like to be able to paint the wood floors white but I can't do it bc I only rent.  Love the different ways to use white.  Very Very interesting

Bathrooms

 There is just something completely amazing about bathrooms.  I absolutely love after a long hectic day of work to go home, pour a glass of pino and soak into my tub and let all the stresses of my day and week just drain away.  Being a designer I tend to get inspired by others designs and try and formulate a design that specifically works in my own small apartment.  I love some of these tubs and they simple way things are placed around the room.
